Techniques which will be applied include soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques, passive and active stretching. Sports and remedial massage can be used as part of a training programme to help prevent injury, as part of a rehabilitation programme to treat injury, as part of a warm-up for an event and as part of the wind-down after the event.

THAI FOOT MASSAGE

Effective form of therapeutic foot massage which applies reflexology techniques. It is a specific pressure technique which works on precise reflex points on the feet, based on the premise that our feet represent a microcosm of the body and the reflex areas on the feet correspond to different body organs and systems. 

Foot massage includes also massage of the lower part of the legs and can be received daily for best results. It can improve circulation in the lower extremities, it reduces anxiety and depression, it helps with headaches and migraine and generally contributes to improve ones lifestyle.

The intention of this work is to improve health and well being by enhancing circulation through skilled touch. This work is not intended to be a remedial treatment (therapy) for any medical condition.


THAI YOGA MASSAGE

A complete Thai Massage incorporates a combination of acupressure and yoga-like stretching. It is often described as having someone "do yoga to you". There is no oil used, the therapist uses a mattress on the floor (instead of a massage table), and the client remains completely clothed throughout the session.

The therapist uses hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure to important points on the energy lines, together with gentle stretching. This blend of acupressure and stretching stimulate or relax the body's energy, affecting the patient's mind and body and promoting the natural healing process.
